Family Home Evening

We actually had a successful FHE last night! It was very spur of the moment. But once we started gathering everything & the kids got exited, I was determined! Steve ran to the church & didn't get back until 9:30, so needless to say kids slept in this morning. I found this cute book at the library, & we tied it into a "Love One Another" lesson. The book: "Cookies: Bit-Size Life Lessons" by Amy Krouse Rosenthal. It talks about compassion, manners, respect, etc.

We even used our FHE board: Ethan gave the prayer, Steve read a scripture, I tied it in w/the book, and Sarina did the activity (coloring). So cute to see the kids get into it! Now just gotta make it happen next week :)
