About a month ago, we took a trip to Utah to visit Steve's Grandparents in New Harmony (about 20 min. south of Cedar). They have a beautiful ranch with breathtaking views of Kolob Canyon, a small portion of Zion.
So you'd think we'd have loads of beautiful pictures, right? Here's the thing: we brought our camera, but not the battery for it! So half of our pic's were taken with my sister-in-law's camera, the other with a disposable camera. Let me just say I am so thankful for technology! It took me a few weeks, but I got the pic's on a CD, then to my computer, & walah- to the blog.
Vacations never seem long enough! We went with Steve's sister Tiffany & her family, & stayed up at the ranch for 4 days. Steve threw his back out on the first day :( but we still had a good time. (He was on a quad by day 2, per doctor's orders :) One of our favorite activities was riding quads. The kids loved it, & it gave us a chance to enjoy "the great outdoors". We also loved just slowing down & visiting with family. Steve's Grandparents are so sweet, we are already planning our next trip up there!
